See CPU and GPU use, memory, temperatures, fans, power, storage, processes and more from the Mac itself, or keep an eye on another Mac from your iPhone, iPad or Mac. On your network it’s live. Away from home, iCloud keeps you up to date without an account or another server in between.

Everything, right on your Mac

Pulse is a full Mac app, not a background utility with a tiny menu attached. CPU, GPU, memory, temperatures, fans, power, storage, processes and thermal pressure are laid out properly, with the detail there when you want it.

Live when you’re nearby

On the same network, Pulse finds your Mac automatically and connects directly. Readings update once a second, with no IP addresses to enter, no server in between, and nothing leaving your network.

Check in from anywhere

Away from your network, Pulse switches to iCloud. Your Mac saves a snapshot to your private iCloud every five minutes, which you can read from your iPhone, iPad or another Mac. It isn’t live, and Pulse doesn’t pretend that it is.

You always know how current it is

A number isn’t very useful if you don’t know when it was measured. Pulse labels every remote connection clearly as Live · local, Stale · 8 sec ago, iCloud · 4 min ago, or Unavailable. You always know where the reading came from and exactly how old it is.

Every sensor your Mac reports

See per-core CPU temperatures, GPU, memory, storage and chassis sensors, along with fan speeds, power draw and thermal pressure. A Mac Studio alone can report twenty-seven thermal sensors, and Pulse gives you all of them instead of reducing the machine to one temperature.

See where the space went

Check every mounted volume, its capacity and exactly how much space is left. Pulse can break down the boot drive by category and run disk speed tests locally, with the latest results available read-only when you check the Mac remotely.

What Pulse doesn’t do

Pulse doesn’t stream live readings over the internet. Live monitoring requires both devices to be on the same network, while iCloud updates every five minutes when you’re away. Remote process lists show the twenty busiest processes, and the Mac you’re watching needs to be running Pulse.

Your Mac reports to you

Local monitoring stays on your network. Remote snapshots are stored in your own private iCloud database, with no Avenue apps account or Avenue apps server in between. There’s nothing to sign up for, and Avenue apps never receives your Mac’s monitoring data.
