Your data belongs to you. Pulse doesn't require an Avenue Apps account, and Avenue Apps doesn't receive your personal data. This page explains what the app stores, where it lives, and how the features that move data between your own devices work.

Stored by the app. Not collected by us.

These are two different things, and they get conflated constantly. Pulse stores information so it can do its job, on your own devices. None of it comes to Avenue Apps. I don't receive it, don't keep a copy, and have no way to read it. There's no Avenue Apps server involved in Pulse at all.

What Pulse stores

Pulse keeps what you type in so the app can do its job, and it's written to your device. For Pulse that means the records you create: invoices, quotes, clients, saved products, and the costs and payments attached to them. You can delete any of it from inside the app, and deleting the app takes the copy on that device with it.

Connecting to your own machines

Pulse only ever connects to Macs you've set up yourself, by installing the Pulse Mac app on them and pairing it with your phone. Those connections go directly across your own local network, or over a mesh VPN such as Tailscale that you run yourself when you're away from it.

Nothing is relayed through Avenue Apps, and there's no account with me involved in any of it. I never see the addresses of your machines, the credentials used to reach them, or any of the readings the app collects from them. The sensor data stays between your Mac and your phone.

Analytics

There's no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking code in Pulse. I have no idea how often you open it or what you do once you're in there.

What Avenue Apps doesn't do

Your information is never sold, never handed to advertisers or data brokers, and never used as training data. All of that would require receiving it in the first place, which doesn't happen. You don't need an Avenue Apps account to use Pulse, because there's no such thing as one. And there's no tracking across other apps or websites, because there's nothing doing any tracking.

Support email

If you write in for support, I read your message and reply to it. I keep those messages only until the problem is sorted out.

Your control

You can delete anything Pulse holds from inside the app, and deleting the app clears its local data. I hold nothing about you, so there's nothing for me to delete on your behalf and no request you need to send.
