The short version: Video Compressor & Photo Size doesn't collect any data about you. It has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and there's no server for anything to be sent to. Everything happens on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. We don't receive your data, keep a copy of it, or have any way to read it. There's no Avenue apps server involved in Video Compressor & Photo Size at all, and it doesn't use iCloud to store anything.

What stays on your device

The videos and photos you pick are compressed on your device, and the compressed copies are saved to your Photos library only when you choose to save them. Nothing is ever uploaded anywhere. If you tap Share, the file goes only to the app you choose.

The app also keeps a small record in the iOS Keychain, on this device only. It isn't synced to iCloud. It holds two things only: when your free videos were used, and whether the one-time Pro introduction screen has been shown.

It does not store whether Pro is unlocked. That is checked with Apple.

Photos access

Picking videos and photos uses Apple's own system picker, which doesn't need any permission from you at all. The app only sees the items you choose.

The one permission Video Compressor & Photo Size asks for is "add only" access, the first time you tap Save to Photos, so it can save your compressed copies. That access lets the app add items to your library but not look at anything already in it, so it can't see the rest of your photos and videos. It asks for no other permissions.

You can change or remove this access at any time in the Settings app, under Privacy & Security, then Photos.

Temporary files

While you're using the app, it keeps temporary working copies of your videos and photos so it can compress them. They're deleted when you tap Done, Change, Cancel or Try Another Size, and any leftovers are cleared the next time the app opens. These files stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Internet use

Compression works fully offline. The only internet use is Apple's App Store system, for purchases and restores, and downloading videos you've stored in iCloud Photos so they can be compressed.

Purchases

If you buy Pro, Apple handles the whole purchase through the App Store. We never see your payment details, your name or your Apple Account.

Ads, analytics and tracking

There are none. Video Compressor & Photo Size has no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code, so we have no idea how often you open it or what you do in it. Nothing is sold, shared or used to track you across other apps or websites.

App Store privacy label

Our App Store privacy label for this app reads Data Not Collected.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes what it stored. Compressed copies you saved to Photos are ordinary items in your library, so they stay there until you delete them yourself. The Keychain record is managed by iOS, so it may remain on your device after the app is deleted. It holds nothing about you beyond when your free videos were used and whether the introduction screen has been shown.
